Overview
Strategic Solutions Engineer – Pre-Sales, Conversational AI (Onsite, SF or NYC) We’re hiring a Strategic Solutions Engineer to join a high-growth AI startup shaping the future of enterprise customer experience. This is a foundational technical role at the intersection of pre-sales engineering, product strategy, and enterprise architecture. You’ll serve as a trusted consultant to prospects and customers, helping integrate cutting-edge AI-native solutions into complex enterprise ecosystems. Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr This range is provided by Thrive Recruiting Partners. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. What You’ll Do
Partner with Account Executives to identify and design high-ROI customer solutions Build custom demonstrations tailored to customer needs Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders from engineers to the C-suite Serve as the technical voice throughout the sales cycle What We’re Looking For
4–6 years in a customer-facing sales engineering / pre-sales role Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences Experience architecting and delivering technical demos or proof-of-concepts Familiarity with GTM systems and workflows Team-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills Bonus Points
2+ years of experience in AI sales engineering Startup background, ideally in a fast-growth environment Medical, dental, and vision coverage Flexible PTO Location
San Francisco or New York City (5 days/week in-office) Seniority level
