Contract Basis About Us: EnerCity Collaborative (ECC) is a nonprofit that began its work in 2022. ECC provides education and job training opportunities for BIPOC at the frontline of climate change, helping them identify, understand, and pursue their contribution to a clean energy future by: 1) building a diversified workforce of clean energy residential contractors 2) increasing community health by improving the durability, resiliency, and indoor air quality of peoples homes, and 3) increasing training to minority contractors and community members' to help them better understand the intersection between a healthy home and an energy efficient home. Operations Manager Job Summary: EnerCity Collaborative is seeking a flexible and creative photographer and social media wrangler to join our team. This will help ECC amplify our mission and connect with our priority communities. We strongly encourage applications from individuals who identify as BIPOC, are from frontline communities, or have direct experience working with organizations dedicated to serving these populations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter thats good at taking direction; able to show up to events on a monthly basis to take photos; and knows their way around Canva and social media. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Post content that resonates with our community on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Content Creation: Work collaboratively to write, design, and produce content such as a bi-monthly newsletter, partner shout-outs, student highlights, and class reminders Graphic Design: Use Canva to improve the aesthetics of our handbooks, presentations, and reports. Photography: Join our staff once or twice a month to take event/class photos for our social media accounts Site Maintenance: Use Squarespace to provide basic website maintenance and postings. Campaign Management: Develop and manage a yearly content calendar highlighting cultural and industry-specific events (e.g., Juneteenth, Earth Day, Black History Month). Communications Support: Maintain our contact lists using MailChimp. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Canva, MailChimp, Squarespace, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and the Google Suite Photography equipment with ability to capture high-resolution images suitable for digital and social media platforms (phone is ok) Photography editing skills using Canva Reliable transportation to events Compensation & Contract Terms: We are looking for someone to work on a contract basis for up to 20 hrs/month $50-60hr depending on experience How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a resume and a PDF (detailed below) to Victoria James at vjames@enercitycollaborative.org.
