You Are
A skilled Systems Engineer with deep expertise in IT systems design, sustainment, and integration within DoD environments. You thrive in highly technical, collaborative settings and have a proven track record of delivering secure solutions that support mission success. Based in the Washington, D.C. Metro area, you hold Secret DoD Security Clearance and are ready to apply your knowledge of PACS, MiPACS, DICOM.
How You Will Make An Impact
As a Systems Engineer, you will lead the design, sustainment, and lifecycle management of Dental IT systems that integrate with MHS GENESIS. Your work will ensure system interoperability, reliability, and compliance with RMF standards, directly impacting operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, design, and sustain Dental IT systems.
- Ensure systems meet interoperability standards with MHS GENESIS.
- Conduct system validation, upgrades, and life-cycle engineering.
- Collaborate with DHA PMO, clinical consultants, and vendors.
- Support risk analysis and mitigation for IT systems.

Here's What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT systems design and sustainment.
- Strong knowledge of PACS, MiPACS, DICOM integration, and MedCOI/AFNET.
- Familiarity with MHS GENESIS/Dentrix integration and RMF compliance.
- Residence in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
