Job Duties and Responsibilities
The AI Enablement team supports the AI Office by helping to deliver capabilities at scale for EchoStar. This includes a wide range of responsibilities such as working with stakeholders on prioritization, AI office operations support, and program management of AI initiatives.
A Senior Program Manager for AI Enablement is responsible for managing key strategic initiatives and processes for the AI Office. This role ensures the successful delivery of AI capabilities across the enterprise, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning and implementation of enterprise-wide AI initiatives with cross-functional teams
Define program scope, goals, and deliverables focused on measurable business outcomes
Build and manage a prioritized backlog of AI initiatives aligned to strategy, ROI, and KPIs
Develop and execute program plans in an agile environment, managing scope, priorities, and schedules with stakeholders
Oversee risk, issue, and change management; track progress, budget, and performance across initiatives
Provide leadership, mentorship, and evaluations to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement
Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: 5-7 years of technology program or project management experience, preferably in an agile environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
PMP/ACP certification and/or Advanced Degrees
Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, financial modeling, and change management
Direct work experience in a program management capacity, with a focus on enterprise software and data initiatives
Solid experience with Google Workspace, Visio, and agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Experience with the lifecycle of AI/ML projects, from ideation and data gathering to model deployment and monitoring
Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communicator with strong negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills
Deep knowledge of program management practices, Agile methodologies, SDLC, and IT systems
Proven ability to translate business opportunities into technical and strategic requirements
Hands-on experience integrating AI (ML, generative, agentic) into enterprise applications and processes
Skilled in financial modeling, business case development, and data governance for AI initiatives
Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML service offerings
