Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Tableau platform development, governance, and innovation initiatives
Automate reporting and server management using AI-driven tools and technologies
Enhance the platform with virtualized, metadata-rich access to reduce local data reliance
Promote AI-powered BI tools (e.g., Tableau Plus, AI assistant) for advanced visualization
Drive data governance and stewardship to ensure trusted, high-quality data access
Partner with business units to deliver new features and foster innovation through automation and optimization
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering or Data Analytics from an accredited institution, or a foreign degree evaluated as equivalent
4+ years of Tableau Cloud administration experience in an IT Department, preferably within aData Warehouse or Business Intelligence teams
Extensive experience in data analysis and creating datasets from multiple source systems
Experience implementing and maintaining new tools and technologies
Knowledge and experience with cloud technologies
Experience working within the Telco/Cable/Satellite/Wireless industry is a plus
Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive experience designing, developing, and optimizing dashboards and data sources in Tableau Cloud
Skilled in performance tuning, diagnosing system bottlenecks, and recommending solutions
Strong knowledge of Tableau Cloud architecture, bridge instances, logs, Admin Insights, and APIs
Proficient in automating/deploying data sources and workbooks, including scripting and alerting
Capable of supporting and enhancing existing dashboards while ensuring best practices in development
Effective communicator with Tableau support; able to work independently and perform end-to-end analysis
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
