nOverview:
nThe Housekeeper performs daily housekeeping procedures in all guest rooms and other public areas of the Atwell Suites KCI in accordance with IHG standards to ensure areas are “Guest Ready” every day.
nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:
nClean all corridors, elevators, guest rooms, and other public areas of the hotel.
nDeliver any requested housekeeping items or room supplies to guest rooms; restock room supplies upon guest departure or when requested.
nRemove and replace dirty linens upon guest departure or when requested.
nRealign furniture according to the prescribed layout; inspect and turn mattresses regularly.
nRespond to any guest queries and requests.
nRespond to calls for housekeeping problems promptly and courteously.
nOrganize and restock the housekeeping cart at the end of each shift.
nEnsure confidentiality and security of guest rooms.
nFollow all company safety and security procedures.
nReport any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to hotel property.
nOther Duties and Expectations:
nLead by example; encourage co-workers to always perform at the highest levels.
nAsk for feedback from supervisors; be open and willing to take directions and/or make changes to job performance as needed.
nEngage guests at all opportunities to build a level of comfort between the guest and our property, instilling a “Home Away From Home” comfort during their stay.
nUnderstand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
