Job Title: Production Technician - Weekly PayJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join our team. This role involves gluing, assembling, and fabricating fiberglass panels, as well as operating power machines for trimming and drilling. You will also learn to push cross rods through grating and master various coating, painting, and grit application procedures.ResponsibilitiesGlue, assemble, and fabricate fiberglass panels and other products.Operate power machines to trim and drill products.Push cross rods through grating to assemble panels.Learn coating, painting, and grit application procedures.Prepare finished products for shipping by palletizing.Read and fill orders by matching specified products to specifications.Keep glass racks full and perform basic pultrusion machine operations.Essential SkillsGeneral production experience.Machine operation expertise.Ability to lift 50 pounds several times per shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsSix months of verified work history at the same job.Experience in assembly, picking, packing, and general labor.Why Work Here?We offer an array of benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, long-term disability coverage, paid holidays, vacation time, and paid leave. You will be exposed to noise, dust, fiberglass, and resin chemicals due to the manufacturing process. The team consists of 5 people per cell, with shifts distributed across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection are required, and it is recommended to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt due to fiberglass exposure. Assembly hours vary by shift, with overtime opportunities available upon supervisor approval.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATFIELD, Minnesota.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
