Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and current ARRT and BLS (AHA) certification for a night shift contract.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital radiology CT scan departmentPerforms diagnostic CT imaging procedures for a diverse patient population12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, including weekendsNo on-call requiredMay be required to float to any CommonSpirit location within a 60-mile radius or designated float zoneUses Epic charting systemPerforms IV starts and contrast administration as neededEnsures safety for patients, self, and staff by following ALARA radiation safety standardsAssists in patient flow and optimal use of equipment and resourcesMay be required to perform duties in other imaging modalities as assignedParticipates in training and education for staff and studentsMaintains compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulationsFlu vaccination required for travelers between Nov 1 and March 31, with only medical exemptions allowedNo local candidates accepted; must live at least 60 miles away from all designated float zone locationsAssignment limit of one calendar year per traveler, with a required 30-60 day break before returningScrubs or dress code provided by the facility
