Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and advanced ARRT (CT) certification to join our diagnostic imaging team. Responsibilities Work in a computerized tomography (CT) department within a hospital settingPerforms specialized CT imaging procedures and may assist with general diagnostic radiology examsResponsible for a variety of patient populations, depending on inpatient and outpatient caseloads12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM13-week contract positionMay float to a nearby sister hospital as neededUtilizes PACS and RIS for image management and study documentationDuties include patient positioning, explaining procedures, obtaining relevant clinical data, performing and analyzing CT scans, and preparing procedure roomsResponsible for administering IV contrast, using power injectors, and monitoring for reactionsAssists radiologists with complex sterile procedures such as biopsiesEnsures accurate documentation and indexing of studies in medical and radiology information systemsAdheres to principles of radiation safety and ALARA practicesNo blocked scheduling is permittedTravelers must be flexible, self-directed, and demonstrate excellent teamwork and customer service valuesRTO (time off) requests must be submitted prior to contract offer; approval post-offer subject to managementExpect to report for lab testing within 24 hours of commitment Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience requiredActive ARRT (CT) registration requiredCurrent AHA BLS certification requiredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredActive Michigan Radiologic Technologist license required if applicableMust be able to safely and properly operate high-voltage CT imaging equipmentMust be able to occasionally lift and/or move equipment and patients in excess of 10 lbsMust complete online training modules and pass required assessments prior to startCOVID-19 vaccination is mandatory Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 OptionsGenerous Housing AllowanceNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs401(k) PlanTraveler Rewards and DiscountsTravel and Licensure Reimbursements
