About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Central Fill Pharmacy Technician to join our high-volume automated pharmacy refill center in West Sacramento. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate preparation, packaging, and distribution of medications in a fast-paced production environment.Schedule Options:Full-Time: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PMPart-Time: Flexible shifts up to 24 hours per week, within the same time windowKey Responsibilities:Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules, verifying medication size and strengthReplenish automated dispensing cells using handheld scanners, ensuring proper lot and expiration trackingConduct weekly cycle counts, audit inventory, and assist in resolving discrepanciesPrepare cold chain and specialty prescriptions with strict adherence to handling protocolsPack and ship prescriptions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy standardsTroubleshoot and escalate operational issues to management as neededPerform cleaning and maintenance of automated dispensing equipment, including calibration and part replacementRequired Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy retail or customer service settingHigh School Diploma or equivalentActive California Pharmacy Technician LicenseFamiliarity with HIPAA regulationsPTCB National Certification preferredWork Environment:Onsite role in a large-scale pharmacy/warehouse production facilityOccasional exposure to refrigerated environments and hazardous medicationsPhysical requirements include:Standing/walking for up to 8 hoursLifting/carrying up to 10 lbsClimbing step ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouchingContinuous use of computer and visual acuity for detailed tasksPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
