Join Millennium Print Group as a
Manager, Overwrap ! We're seeking a strong leader to manage and develop our
overwrap production department
in Durham, NC. This role will play a critical part in driving
operational excellence, production efficiency, and team performance
in a fast-paced
printing and packaging manufacturing environment . If you're passionate about
continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and leading high-performing teams , this is your chance to help deliver products loved worldwide. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing, safety-focused workforce. Plan, organize, and execute departmental goals, metrics, and production schedules. Manage daily operations to achieve
on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency . Monitor production flow, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Partner cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, safety, and supply chain teams. Drive
continuous improvement initiatives
using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001, OSHA, and company safety standards . Administer department budgets, resources, and administrative functions. What You'll Bring
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. 8+ years of experience in
manufacturing or printing industry production management , with overwrap or packaging background preferred. Previous leadership and team management experience required. Training or knowledge in
ISO, OSHA, Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen
highly desirable. Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills. Expertise in
overwrap production equipment
(feeders, wrappers, conveyors, shrink wrap). Proficiency with Microsoft Office, intranet, MIS, and production reporting systems. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Strong business acumen with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. How You Will Be Successful Passion for Cards:
