Pressroom Supervisor - Night Shift (Komori & KBA Offset Presses) | Raleigh, NC

Lead in High-Quality Offset Printing at Millennium Print Group

Millennium Print Group (MPG), the world's largest producer of trading cards, is seeking an experienced

Pressroom Supervisor

to lead night shift operations in our high-volume print facility. You'll oversee a pressroom that includes

Komori 40" sheetfed offset presses

and a

12-color KBA Rapida press , guiding a team dedicated to quality, safety, and efficiency in a 24/7 environment. Schedule:

Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Work a

2-2-3-2 rotation

schedule (every other weekend off) as part of our around-the-clock operation. What You'll Do: Supervise Press Operations:

Lead and support multiple crews operating

Komori multicolor presses

and a

12-color KBA sheetfed offset press , along with foil stamping equipment. Ensure Color & Quality Standards:

Approve color, register, and print positioning with expertise in

G7 color theory

and

branded color compliance . Drive Pressroom Efficiency:

Optimize SOPs, reduce downtime, and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with

ISO 9001 . Coach & Develop Talent:

Train and mentor press operators, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and growth. Track KPIs:

Monitor production throughput, quality metrics, and team performance. Ensure Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean work environment. Collaborate with Clients:

Serve as a key point of contact during audits and press checks when needed. Resolve Issues Quickly:

Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to ensure uninterrupted production. Manage Resources:

Coordinate staffing, press readiness, and material planning during each shift. What You'll Bring: 10+ years

in

sheetfed offset printing , with hands-on experience running

Komori

and/or

KBA (12-color)

presses. 5+ years

of experience in a

supervisory or lead operator role

in a printing or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of

UV printing ,

specialty coatings

(e.g., MotionCoat™), and inline finishing systems. Proficiency in

G7 color theory ,

LAB values , and advanced press calibration. Familiarity with

ISO 9001 , Lean manufacturing, and quality control systems. Working knowledge of

Microsoft Office , production reporting systems, and scheduling tools. High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree

in Print Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
