Detnal Ceramist Summit Horizon Dental Lab- Bridgeton MO Introduction Join our dynamic team at Summit-Horizon Dental Lab as a Dental Ceramist, where you'll play a crucial role in crafting high-quality dental prosthetics. Your expertise in designing and creating lifelike dental restorations will help enhance smiles and improve patient confidence. Job Responsibilities - Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants, using various materials and techniques. - Interpret dental prescriptions and specifications provided by dentists to ensure accurate creation of dental appliances. - Utilize CAD/CAM technology to design and mill dental restorations with precision. - Perform hand-sculpting and layering of ceramics to achieve natural and aesthetic appearances. - Conduct quality control checks to ensure all finished products meet industry standards and dentist specifications. - Maintain and operate dental laboratory equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order. - Collaborate with dental professionals to discuss cases and clarify any technical details. - Stay updated on advancements in dental materials and techniques to continuously improve craftsmanship. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory setting. - Document work processes and maintain records of materials and techniques used for each case. Job Requirements - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Dental Ceramist. - Proficiency in creating high-quality dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants. - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology. - Expertise in using dental ceramic materials and tools. - Ability to accurately interpret dental prescriptions and instructions. - Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology and digital design software. - Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. - Strong color perception and ability to match shades accurately. - Good communication skills for collaborating with dentists and dental technicians. - Understanding of safety and health regulations in a dental laboratory setting. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. - High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental technology or ceramics is preferred.
