Job Description Salary: $21/hour POSITION: RHY Case Aide

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in human services, social work, or a related field preferred. Previous experience working with children and families in a social services setting preferred.

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt, Full-Time

REPORTS TO: Director of Outreach Services

Summary: The Case Aide supports the work of therapists and case managers by providing direct client services, transportation, administrative support, and parenting education. This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the practical assistance and education necessary to support family stability, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Transportation: Provide safe, reliable transportation for clients and their children to and from appointments, to and from school from foster homes, court hearings, medical appointments, or other required services. Maintain accurate transportation logs and ensure client confidentiality during transport.

Administrative Support: Assist caseworkers and administrative staff with filing, data entry, and document organization. Maintain case files in accordance with agency policies and confidentiality regulations. Help prepare and distribute educational and program materials for parenting education and other services.

Parenting Education Support: Facilitate evidence-based parenting education class to families in the RHY program. Assist clients in understanding and practicing positive parenting techniques. Support the preparation, setup, and cleanup of parenting classes, including materials and activities.

Client Engagement and Support: Build positive, professional relationships with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Observe and report client behaviors or concerns to case managers or clinical staff. Provide basic coaching or support in daily living or parenting skills, as directed. VI. Other Duties Reports itinerary on a daily basis. Completes day (time) sheets on a weekly basis. Attends all staff meetings and training sessions. Participates in annual evaluation. Represents the YSB at local community events as directed. Completes case notes in files, as well as monthly, court, and other reports as required. Actively participates in YSBIV's continuous Quality Improvement program. Participates in client focus groups quarterly.
