DIVISION OVERVIEW: The Corrections Transition Programs (CTP) is a statewide network of clinical reentry management services with the overall purpose of increasing opportunities for successful reentry outcomes. CTP provides specialized case management services to help people prepare to return to their families and communities after incarceration. CTP works both inside prisons and in communities to provide reentry support, including, but not limited to, behavioral health referrals, public benefits enrollment, finding employment and housing resources and obtaining state IDs and vital records. We are currently looking for full-time – Network Housing Developer Starting at $44,676 – $47,650 contingent upon experience, education, etc. Position Summary

:

TASC Network Housing Developer (NHD) collaborates with the PSH team to identify and develop housing opportunities. The NDH will seek out, maintain, and foster positive relationships with landlords and other housing service providers. The NDH will work as a liaison with the PSH team in order to communicate the status of housing opportunities or any additional changes in housing based opportunities for PSH clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recruit landlord and builder owners who want to lease to PSH participants in the metro – east region of the state of Illinois, focusing on Belleville, Edwardsville and Collinsville communities, recruit at least 40 landlord providers Create an affordable housing directory for PSH program participates Network with other affordable housing providers in the region Work with landlords and property managers to address any lease – client issues Create a rent computation on new applications and assist with client – move – ins Process internal vouchers for client move- in assistant Answer inquiries regarding applications, rent charges, admission policies and procedures. Response to inquiries regarding client and PSH portions of the rent and payments for new landlords. Resolve new move-in landlord issues Completes a variety of daily, weekly and monthly logs and reports Process new rental applications according to prescribed procedures Makes recommendation for termination of assistance when appropriate Utilization computer system for accurate input, change, or display of information Attend all PSH trainings as requested and require per IDHS /SURP contract Complete monthly reports as requested Complete rental – pre- move in inspection with client and landlord Housing Assessment for move – in readiness (assessing for building code violations, lease assessment review for sublease, grievance process, opt – out options) Our Ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree preferred Prior experience in real estate or housing field preferred SUD based experience preferred Certain programs may require a higher level of education, certification and/or licensures based on contractual obligations. Knowledge of outreach and /or supportive housing programs Must be able to implement a Housing First Model. Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite Demonstrated experience in group facilitation Ability to support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ability to take initiatives and have creativeness Flexibility in thinking and approaches to leading group discussions Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
