Avionics Technician
This role involves performing organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance, including inspection, operational testing, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems. The installer will work on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment, applying advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other team members as needed. Responsibilities
Perform inspection, operational tests, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems. Utilize skills in avionics modifications, troubleshooting, and installation. Work with harnesses, avionics electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Perform crimping and splicing of wires, sheet metal work, blueprint reading, fabrication, and wiring schematics. Essential Skills
Minimum of three years' previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience. Experience with depot-level modifications and maintenance. Experience with high-performance military aircraft or military fixed-wing aircraft. Why Work Here?
Employees receive paid federal holidays and can expect an hourly wage increase after six months and at their one-year anniversary. Additionally, paid time off is accrued, with 40 hours available after six months and another 40 hours after one year. Work Environment
