Amyx, Inc. is seeking a full-time, onsite Data Analytics Project Specialist to join our high performing team providing business support services to a Federal civilian customer. The Data Analytics Project Specialist will lead complex data call projects, synthesize enterprise-wide data, and drive digital transformation initiatives using tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Apps to enable data-driven decision-making in a dynamic Federal IT and Cybersecurity environment.
Responsibilities and Daily Tasks
- Enable the release, collection, and response processes for enterprise-wide data calls ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
- Synthesize and analyze data call responses to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights for operational and executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain data visualization products using Power BI and Power Apps to support leadership decision-making.
- Maintain and update SharePoint sites and dashboards related to data call management and other business services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current processes, identify digital transformation opportunities, and support the deployment of new technologies and tools that enhance operational efficiency.
- Support additional special projects related to data management, analysis, and process improvement as assigned.
- Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively in an office environment.
- Data visualization and reporting tools Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Apps
- Collaboration and communication platforms Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint Online
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience solving data challenges for Federal customers.
- DOE Q or DoD TOP SECRET security clearance.
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and implementing data process improvements for Federal customers.
- Experience identifying opportunities for digital transformation and leading the implementation of innovative technologies and solutions to modernize processes and improve organizational performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
- Experience synthesizing and analyzing data to support project and executive-level decision making.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week.
- Familiarity with Federal Cybersecurity frameworks, reporting requirements, and tools used for Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) data management.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- One or more of the following certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent.
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, or equivalent.
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
