This engineer will work in a close-knit team to grow and maintain our ecosystem of applications. They will be expected to resolve issues across the entire application and bring to the table one or more specialties such as: AI (Using LLM to create application experiences), Machine Learning, Scalability Engineering, DevOps, Security, and more.

Job Description:

  • Perform software development, including writing code and unit tests, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints.
  • Work closely with product managers and other full stack developers to implement innovative solutions to challenging development problems.
  • Drive automation and ensure automated tests are completed for new and existing features.
  • Brainstorm, collaborate, and lend expertise on design, architecture, security, scalability, and future proofing our applications.
  • Be on-call for production issues that need immediate fixing.

  • AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Elasticache, inner workings and configuration management)

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience in AI for development (Claude Code, Cursor, etc), and it’s usage in production systems.
  • Background in Consumer Package Goods industry / strong ability to learn.
  • Ability to efficiently build and manage large, complex web applications.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset. Excited to work at a small but rapidly growing company.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
  • Ability to mentor other engineers.
