Field AI is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This full-time role reports to the Controller and supports daily accounting operations, monthly close, and financial reporting. It is suited for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career in a scaling tech company. You will work closely with finance and business teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process improvements across our accounting functions.
What You'll Get To Do
- Accounts Payable & Receivable : Manage AP and AR processes, including invoice processing, vendor setup, billing, and collections.
- General Ledger Management : Post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with accruals and prepaids.
- Month-End Close Support : Prepare financial statements and ensure timely, accurate closes.
- Expense Tracking : Review employee expenses via Brex, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Accounting Systems : Maintain and improve data integrity in QuickBooks and other tools.
- Compliance Support : Assist with tax filings, audits, and coordination with external accountants.
What You Have
- Experience at a startup or fast-growth company
- 3-5 years in accounting or finance operations
- Understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Brex (or similar)
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- High attention to detail, organized, deadline-oriented
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a collaborative environment
What Will Set You Apart
- CPA candidate or partial certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with accounting in software, services, or robotics sectors
Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year. We consider individual background and experience when determining final salary, which may vary based on location and qualifications.
