Field AI is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This full-time role will report to the Controller and play a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, monthly close, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and wants to grow their accounting career in a scaling technology company. What You'll Get To Do- Accounts Payable & Receivable : Manage AP and AR processes, including invoice processing, vendor setup, billing, and collections
- General Ledger Management : Post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist with accruals and prepaid expenses
- Month-End Close Support : Help prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and ensure timely, accurate close processes
- Expense Tracking : Review employee expense submissions via Brex and ensure proper coding and approvals
- Accounting Systems : Maintain and improve the integrity of data in QuickBooks and other integrated tools
- Compliance Support : Assist with tax filings, audit prep, and coordination with external accountants
- Experience at a startup or fast-growth company
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Brex (or similar tools)
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (vlookups, pivots, etc.)
- High attention to detail, organized, and deadline-oriented
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
- CPA candidate or partial certification (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with accounting for software, services, or robotics companies
Our salary range is generous and we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
