About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to take ownership of our AP operations, lead a talented team, and drive innovation in how we manage vendor payments and financial processes. This is a high-impact role supporting 60+ branches nationwide, where you'll have the chance to shape automation initiatives, ensure compliance, and partner across Finance, Sales, and Operations.

Location: On-Site Austin, TX
Compensation: $105,000 - $120,000
What You'll Do
  • Lead AP Operations: Own the full accounts payable cycle and optimize vendor rebate/discount programs.
  • Manage & Grow the Team: Mentor and develop a team of 8+ AP professionals across multiple time zones.
  • Ensure Accuracy & Compliance: Oversee GAAP compliance (including ASC 842), reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Champion Automation & Efficiency: Monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders across Finance, Operations, and Sales to align processes and resolve escalations.
  • Support Tax & Reporting: Oversee business personal property tax filings, unclaimed property, 1099 reporting, and support financial reporting.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years in high-volume AP or accounting operations
  • 3+ years managing teams of 6+
  • Strong background in automation, process improvements, and tax compliance
  • Proficiency with reporting tools (Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, etc.)

Bonus if you've worked with: Sage Intacct, Salesforce, Medius, Divvy/Bill.com, or Avalara
