Job Description
Our esteemed client in Bergen County, NJ is seeking a
talented CNC Manufacturing Engineer
to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in
5-axis machining, CNC programming, and process optimization
to contribute to a growing, innovative organization. Key Responsibilities Independently set up, program, and operate CNC-controlled milling centers with an emphasis on
5-axis machining . Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to
optimize machining processes . Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for maximum
accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability . Monitor machining cycles, making
real-time adjustments
to ensure quality output. Provide
technical leadership and mentorship
to machinists and production staff. Troubleshoot CNC programming issues, machine operations, and robotic system malfunctions. Interpret
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam
drawings and models to ensure exact specifications. Develop and optimize machining sequences, including
control plans for complex geometries, precision parts, and prototypes . Drive
process improvement initiatives
to reduce cycle times, minimize waste, and improve efficiency. Perform
in-process and final inspections
using precision measuring instruments. Ensure strict compliance with
ISO 13485 standards
and all safety protocols. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering , or related field (). 10–12 years
of hands-on experience in
5-axis CNC machining and programming . Proven experience with
robotic loading systems
and automated machining centers. Strong knowledge of
G-code, AutoCAD, Mastercam, and SolidWorks . Ability to
mentor and train machinists
in advanced CNC processes. Skilled at troubleshooting CNC machinery, robotic integrations, and process inefficiencies. Strong background in
precision engineering
