Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is a highly visible, independent role offering the opportunity to lead, grow, and improve the engineering and machining processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has a proven track record of precision machining, and is ready to make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities
Independently set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC milling centers. Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to optimize machining processes. Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces to achieve maximum accuracy and repeatability. Monitor machining cycles and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machinists and production personnel. Troubleshoot CNC programming, machine operation issues, and robotic system malfunctions. Read and interpret AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam drawings and models to ensure exact specifications. Optimize machining sequences and build control plans for complex geometries, precision components, and prototypes. Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance cycle times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 quality standards and safety protocols. Required Qualifications
Minimum 10–12 years of hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machining and programming. Experience with robotic loading systems and automated machining centers. Strong understanding of G-code, AutoCAD, Mastercam, and SolidWorks. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Proven ability to mentor, train, and support machinists and operators in implementing advanced processes. Strong troubleshooting skills for CNC machines, robotic integrations, and process inefficiencies. Experience with precision engineering and machining components to tight tolerances. Benefits
