Principal Data Scientist
to lead our
Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
efforts within a new Marketing Analytics and Data Science team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape measurement frameworks, drive strategic planning, and pioneer AI-driven innovations in donor intelligence. Key Responsibilities: MMM Capability Ownership:
Lead design, validation, and improvement of MMM solutions, collaborating with vendors and internal teams for scalable, accurate models. Cross-Functional Partnership:
Work with marketing, finance, and media teams to align modeling efforts with business goals. Model Quality & Innovation:
Ensure data integrity, model validation, and stay ahead of industry trends. Testing & Experimentation Strategy:
Develop frameworks to evaluate model reliability. Integrated Measurement Strategy:
Support combining MMM with other measurement methods like MTA. Analytical Framework Development:
Translate business challenges into analytical approaches. Mentorship & Best Practices:
Mentor junior team members and promote modeling standards. Top Skills & Experience: Expertise in MTA, Bayesian modeling, causal inference, and related techniques. Experience with enterprise-scale forecasting and simulation. Ability to communicate insights effectively to senior leadership. Strong data engineering knowledge and collaboration skills. Additional Impact Areas include: Expanding MMM frameworks to donor and investment data. Leading scenario simulation initiatives. Innovating with AI and GenAI tools. Implementing model governance and transparency. Long-term strategic growth opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years in marketing analytics or data science, with MMM focus. Proven leadership in enterprise modeling and analytics. This position is based at our Memphis headquarters or in any of our 28 US territory offices.
