SharePoint Architect

to lead the design, strategy, and governance of enterprise-grade SharePoint environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across hybrid environments (SharePoint Online and On-Premise). The Architect will play a key role in modernization initiatives, including migrations to SharePoint GCC High, and will ensure alignment with ITIL processes and federal compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• This position is based out of

Melbourne FL; Rochester, NY; Clifton, NJ; Greenville, TX; Salt Lake City, UT . Ideal candidate should be willing to relocate to work from any of the above locations. Alternately candidate can work from any location within the USA. This position may require travel in the US. • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience. • In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees. • At least 7 years of experience in SharePoint architecture, development, and administration. • Define and implement SharePoint architecture strategies across hybrid environments. • Lead enterprise migrations from SharePoint On-Premise to SharePoint Online/GCC High. • Design and enforce governance models, security frameworks, and compliance protocols. • Architect custom solutions using SPFx, Power Platform, and third-party integrations. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Infosys leadership, and client teams to align SharePoint capabilities with organizational goals. • Oversee performance optimization, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies. • Provide technical leadership to development teams and mentor junior engineers. • Establish best practices for automation, deployment, and lifecycle management. • Drive innovation through continuous improvement and adoption of emerging technologies.

Expertise in: • SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2013/2010 • InfoPath Forms, MS Flow, PowerApps • AngularJS, JavaScript, SPFx • SharePoint upgrades and migrations • Nintex workflows, PowerShell scripting • M365 workloads (Teams, OneDrive) • Migration tools (Sharegate, Metalogix, DocAve)

Architectural & Technical Skills : • Enterprise Architecture: Designing scalable, secure, and compliant SharePoint ecosystems. • Governance & Security: Implementing role-based access, auditing, and DLP policies. • Integration & Automation: Connecting SharePoint with external systems via APIs and Power Automate. • Performance Optimization: Monitoring and tuning SharePoint performance, managing storage quotas, and resolving latency issues. • Backup & Recovery: Defining and executing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans. • Monitoring & Reporting: Leveraging SharePoint Admin Center, Power BI, and third-party tools for analytics and health monitoring. • Content Management: Managing document libraries, metadata, versioning, and retention policies. • Change Management: Leading deployments and managing updates in a controlled environment. • End-User Enablement: Delivering training, documentation, and support across business units.

Preferred Skills: • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Architect or equivalent. • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. • Proven ability to drive enterprise transformation initiatives. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Experience in federal or defense environments with IL4/CUI data handling.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows: In CA/ WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN: $94,000 to $131600 In Washington, DC:$ 85,700 to 124,600
