Job Description Design strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional networks. Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security. Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses. Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.
Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) of data
Ingesting and Cleaning of 2 to 3 new data sets
Automate the cleaning and upload of new data-sets
Develop 2 new dashboards utilizing the new data sets
Maintenance of Current Data Sets
Extract data to S3 Advana Path
Create staging, fact and dimension tables using the extracted data
Develop reporting tables
The annual base salary range for this role is $100,000-$135,000 (USD), excluding discretionary bonus and benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
Required Skills
High proficiency in R and/or SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and transformation
Support for exploratory data analysis efforts
Experience with data pipelines, ETL platforms, and languages such as Databricks, Python, Spark, Scala, JavaScript/JSON, PL-SQL
Hands-on experience maintaining and optimizing data pipelines and automation
Education
3 to 10+ years of related experience and M.A./M.S.
Desired Skills
Experience with BI tools like Qlik
Experience with cloud data structures such as AWS S3, delta, and external tables
Detail-oriented with high-quality results
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate technical info effectively
