The Program Director will lead the PATH program that Front-Line operates in partnership with Methuen PD/City of Methuen. The director will provide oversight of the daily clinical and operational functioning of multiple teams and various staff assigned to this program. The Program Director supports the staff to deliver crisis intervention services alongside law enforcement, as part of the CIT team. In addition, the director will provide oversight of the community response team, and rapid outpatient clinicians. The Program Director will integrate best practices that promote de-escalation and criminal justice diversion. The Program Director liaises with police leadership and community stakeholders, leads recruitment, hiring, training and supervision of assigned program clinicians/staff. Responsibilities • Provide oversight of the clinical services delivered by assigned program staff. Ensure best practices and evidence-based crisis assessment tools are being utilized when available • Serve as Front-Line’s representative with the Methuen PD & City of Methuen on programmatic matters and as requested by senior leadership. Report to Front-Line senior leadership program needs and partnership needs for approval/consideration • Ensure appropriate coverage of shifts to align with needs of the law enforcement partner • Provide direct field-based clinical services up to 70%, operational/administrative minimum of 30% of scheduled time • Lead the recruiting, screening, training, and development of program staff • Provide regularly scheduled and supportive supervision to assigned staff • Promote and model wellness and self-care strategies to reduce burnout on the team • Maintain robust knowledge of health insurance systems, behavioral health services levels of care, and community partners • Maintain, create and update operational policies and procedures, clinical policies and procedures, and any other necessary program specific needs • Actively participate in regularly scheduled operations meetings related to assigned programs with Front-Line senior leadership • Ensure the program is collecting, entering, and reporting on the appropriate data for program analysis. Complete reviews of data for accuracy and clinical appropriateness. Create monthly reports for both partner agencies • Potentially provide on-call clinical support and recommendations via phone as requested by clinicians as well as by law enforcement after-hours. Qualifications • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Forensic Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field • Massachusetts licensure in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Social Work (LICSW), Marriage and Family Counseling (LMFT) or Psychology is highly preferred • Must have direct crisis intervention experience in the community, with at least one year of experience as a Co-Response clinician, responding alongside law enforcement • Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred • Cultural competency and demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural, diverse settings Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, and squat. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Salary Expectation Job Type: Fulltime 40hrs Salaried Schedule: M-F 11am-7pm Salary: $85,000 to 90,000 per year Seniority level
