We are seeking an experienced and driven
Water Mitigation Project Manager
to oversee water damage restoration projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating with insurance adjusters and property owners, ensuring compliance with IICRC standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of water mitigation, and proven success in customer and insurance communications. Requirements:Key Responsibilities Project Oversight
– Manage all phases of water mitigation projects including initial assessment, scope of work, equipment setup, monitoring, and final clearance. Customer & Insurance Relations
– Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, adjusters, and vendors; provide updates and resolve concerns. Team Management
– Direct and supervise technicians to ensure efficient and professional job completion, including scheduling, daily reporting, and safety compliance. Documentation & Compliance
– Maintain thorough project documentation, including drying logs, photos, and job notes; ensure compliance with IICRC S500 standards and company SOPs. Budget & Invoicing
– Track job costs, approve time/labor, and assist with estimates and invoicing to maximize profitability and accuracy. Quality Control
– Conduct inspections to verify that drying goals and project requirements are met. Emergency Response
– Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to after-hours water damage emergencies. Qualifications Experience:
3+ years in water
mitigation/restoration
or related construction project management. () Certifications:
IICRC WRT required; ASD, AMRT, or other restoration certifications . Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with drying science, dehumidification, air movement, moisture mapping, and job documentation software (e.g., Encircle, MICA, DryTrack, Xactimate). () Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and adapt to variable working conditions. Other:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
