Principal Associate Scientist 12-month Contract Onsite in Cambridge, MA Key Responsibilities Compound Management (50%) • Process compound requests and prepare assay-ready plates using automation and sample management tools • Coordinate and track incoming/outgoing shipments to CRO partners and collaborators • Maintain compound library integrity, ensuring accurate records and quality control • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of liquid handling systems Assay Development (50%) • Develop, miniaturize, and execute biochemical and cell-based assays in 384-well and 1536-well formats • Operate automation platforms and liquid handling robotics to support high-throughput screening (HTS) and hit-to-lead activities • Analyze, interpret, and report assay data with an emphasis on quality, reproducibility, and data integrity Qualifications • B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field with up to 4 years of relevant lab experience; or M.S. with up to 2 years of relevant experience • Hands-on experience with plate-based biochemical and/or cell-based assays • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills • Detail-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment Preferred Qualifications • Experience in compound management, LIMS/databases, and high-throughput screening workflows • Familiarity with automation platforms and liquid handling robotics Seniority level
