Director of Operations
provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for a soon to open high-volume restaurant in
Downtown Disney . This role is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of company standards, driving financial performance, developing management talent, and fostering an exceptional guest experience. The Director of Operations partners closely with ownership and the VP of Operations and executive leadership to deliver on growth objectives while maintaining operational excellence across all locations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple high-volume restaurant locations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, health/safety regulations, and operational policies. Implement systems and processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and consistency across units. Monitor service execution, food quality, and hospitality standards, ensuring best-in-class guest experiences. Maintain excellent relationships and an open line of communication with Disney management Financial & Strategic Management Drive sales growth and profitability through effective cost controls, labor management, and revenue optimization strategies. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements for each location. Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop Managers and other key leadership roles. Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and professional growth. Conduct regular performance evaluations, succession planning, and leadership training. Guest Experience & Brand Standards Ensure hospitality standards exceed guest expectations at all times. Implement guest feedback systems and respond to escalated service issues with urgency. Maintain consistency in food, beverage, and service standards across all units. Compliance & Risk Management Enforce adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations including labor, health, and safety laws. Oversee food safety and sanitation programs. Ensure workplace safety and risk management protocols are followed. Qualifications: 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit, high-volume restaurant operations (hospitality group, casual dining, or upscale dining preferred). Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage P&Ls and drive profitability. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with new store openings, training programs, and scaling operations. Ability to travel regularly between locations.
