Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Data Scientist - Supply Chain
to join our team. The ideal candidate will harness advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven methodologies to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize performance. As a key player, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to solve complex supply chain challenges and deliver impactful solutions that drive business success. Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of:
Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NJ or Indianapolis, IN or Hartford, CT, or be willing to relocate to these locations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of each year of education.
At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
Candidates authorized to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa are welcome. We are unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
At least 3 years of experience in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Proven experience with Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure/ADF, Data bricks) and their AI services.
At least 1 year of experience in data science focusing on supply chain analytics, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics, and procurement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with machine learning frameworks, optimization solvers, and big data ecosystems.
Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working in an Agile environment, managing team efforts, and tracking through JIRA.
Strong client communication skills.
Experience in a consulting environment is highly desirable.
The role may involve extensive travel and requires candidates to work at a computer for extended periods, with effective communication skills via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
