ELS is hiring for the position of Activities Supervisor in Santa Barbara, California.
What you'll do:
The Activities Supervisor directs the planning and implementation of resort activities and events. This includes arranging sponsors, scheduling volunteers, and reviewing potential vendors. Your responsibilities include:
Planning and scheduling events for all resort groups and private events at resort facilities. Coordinating and managing event preparations: arranging food and beverages, soliciting and scheduling volunteers, booking entertainers, collecting ticket sales, and other duties. Arranging sponsorships to fund events. Reviewing requests and selecting vendors for informational seminars. Managing activities related to monthly newsletters: gathering information, preparing layouts, submitting drafts, and arranging delivery. Maintaining open communication with resort management, guests, and vendors. Representing the resort professionally at all times. Skills & experience required:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in event or activities planning. Meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Microsoft Publisher preferred.
