Base pay range
$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Company Description RoseyFields is seeking to fill a full-time position with someone who is ready to start learning and working immediately to make a positive difference in the environmental world. RoseyFields is an environmental consulting firm located in Santa Monica that specializes in litigation support. Projects include asbestos exposure assessment, risk assessment, historic dose reconstruction, environmental chemistry, and chemical fate and transport. RoseyFields is seeking a team member who will assist with cases involving asbestos exposure through the use of talcum powder products. This team member will be responsible for reviewing deposition transcripts, historical documents related to asbestos in talcum powder, assisting with asbestos dose reconstruction, and writing reports. The job responsibilities are further outlined below: Responsibilities Report Writing – Assist staff and principal partners in preparing exposure assessment reports that assess client exposure and communicate scientific conclusions in layman’s terms Research – Assist staff and principal partners in research, scientific literature review, and open-ended exploratory research for developing cases Data Analysis – Analyze large data sets, summarize and interpret environmental data Literature Review – Review legal documents to create a summary of exposure Requirements Bachelor’s or masters in environmental science, environmental health, biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field. Desired Qualifications Strong analytical writing ability Strong research ability Strong math and science background Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with limited instruction In addition to your application on Linkedin, please send a resume and a writing sample to
