About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's financial evolution. The CFO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, leading the development of financial strategy, forecasting, and modeling to support the company's growth and capital needs. This dual role requires a hands-on approach, with the CFO driving long-term value creation, leading capital strategy, and ensuring financial health and operational discipline. Key responsibilities include cash management, business health, overhauling reporting systems, and leading a high-performing finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a blend of investment banking or private equity FP&A background, Big 4 accounting firm experience, and a minimum of 3-5 years in hands-on financial leadership outside of Big 4.
The successful CFO at the company will be a strategic and analytical leader with a strong business judgment and commercial acumen. They must be a clear communicator, capable of translating financial complexity into actionable insights, and have a passion for mission-driven, socially conscious business models. Essential qualifications include a proven track record in managing financials for institutional fundraising, investor engagement, and M&A activity, as well as a strong knowledge of US GAAP, international financial structures, and global compliance. The role demands a leader who is a hands-on operator, comfortable with the day-to-day operations in a lean, high-impact team, and who can foster a data-driven culture that supports accountability, speed, and decision-making at all levels.
