The successful candidate will be tasked with recommending and implementing improvements in purchasing, inventory, planning, and logistics. This includes the development of cost reduction strategies, procurement metrics, and the institutionalization of a global procurement strategy. The role also involves coordinating business relationships with major suppliers, providing critical assessments of supply chain performance, and driving cost savings within the supply chain.

Candidates for this role at The Company should have a strong background in supply chain management, with a focus on electronics manufacturing. Key responsibilities include aligning purchasing and inventory practices with customer needs, establishing supplier performance programs, and negotiating vendor agreements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA, CPIM, or CPM being a plus, and at least 5 years' experience in supply chain management, particularly in the EMS or defense electronics sector. Proficiency in logistics, material management systems, e-commerce, and strategic sourcing is essential, as is experience in strategic planning, supplier relations, and production planning. The role requires a professional who is skilled in negotiations, supplier selection, and purchase control, and who can effectively manage resources through cross-functional processes.
