VP of Supply Chain Operations About the Company Leading provider of high-quality electronic manufacturing services Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Supply Chain Operations to enhance and oversee the strategic and operational dimensions of our supply chain. The ideal candidate will drive innovative improvements in purchasing, inventory management, planning, and logistics. You will be responsible for developing cost reduction strategies, setting procurement metrics, and implementing a comprehensive global procurement strategy. This role also requires effective collaboration with key suppliers, performing in-depth evaluations of supply chain performance, and generating significant cost savings across the operations. We are looking for someone with a robust background in supply chain management, particularly within the electronics manufacturing industry. Key responsibilities will include aligning purchasing and inventory operations with customer demand, establishing supplier performance programs, and leading negotiations for vendor contracts. A Bachelor's degree is required, while an MBA, CPIM, or CPM certification will be considered an asset. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on EMS or defense electronics. Proficiency in logistics, material management systems, e-commerce, strategic sourcing, and experience in strategic planning and supplier relations are key. This role demands strong negotiation skills, effective supplier selection processes, and the ability to manage resources through cross-functional collaborations.
