We are seeking a
skilled and experienced CMM Programmer
with strong knowledge of Hexagon/PC-DMIS, GD&T interpretation, and manual inspection techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on programming experience and the ability to mentor others while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Operate and program
CMMs (Hexagon / PC-DMIS)
for new and existing parts, ensuring accuracy during setup, in-process, and final inspections. Inspect and measure parts using CMMs, manual tools (micrometers, bore gages, optical comparators, Rockwell testers), and visual inspection methods. Interpret complex
engineering drawings, GD&T, ECOs, and parts lists
to ensure compliance with specifications. Document inspection results in ERP systems, work orders, and CMM programs for full traceability. Train and cross-train team members in CMM programming, inspection methods, and best practices. Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with programmers, setup personnel, and operators. Support production teams with inspection expertise and maintain compliance with quality policies and procedures. Promote continuous improvement in inspection processes, safety, and overall quality management. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience
operating, programming, and maintaining CMM equipment. Proficiency with Hexagon / PC-DMIS
required. 3+ years of experience
using and calibrating manual inspection tools (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gages, profilometers, comparators, Rockwell testers). Strong knowledge of
GD&T interpretation
and application. Ability to mentor and train team members in CMM programming and inspection techniques. Aerospace/Defense industry experience
highly preferred
due to precision and compliance requirements.
