About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Global Tax Reporting, Compliance, and Controversy. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the strategic vision for the global tax function, with a focus on tax accounting, US tax compliance, and tax controversy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of the global consolidated income tax provision, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and all relevant tax regulations. This includes managing the US Federal income tax compliance process, leading the response to external audits, and providing strategic insights on tax legislative developments. The role also involves fostering strong cross-functional collaboration, leading a high-performing tax team, and driving tax process automation and transformation initiatives.

Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a minimum of 17 years of corporate tax experience, with a strong background in public accounting and in-house leadership. A Bachelor's degree in public accounting is required, along with a CPA certification and/or a Master's in taxation. The ideal candidate will be an expert in US GAAP tax accounting, with a deep understanding of ASC 740 and related financial disclosure requirements. Proficiency in tax technology and experience with SAP is preferred. The role demands a proven track record in leading cross-functional projects, managing critical deadlines, and operating effectively in high-pressure environments. The candidate should be an effective communicator, capable of engaging with senior leadership and C-suite executives, and have a strong ability to mentor and develop a high-performing tax team.
