About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their mission-driven team. The COO will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future, driving operational excellence, and ensuring that all activities are in line with the company's core values. This includes directing and planning hospice operations, program development, and compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general oversight of various service areas, managing resources within budget, and promoting programs that enhance the quality and accessibility of care. The COO will also be involved in strategic planning, collaborating with the leadership team, and serving as a representative to the medical community.

Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Master's degree or a combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 3 years' in senior management, and a background in hospice leadership. The role requires a strategic, compassionate leader with a strong focus on operational strategy and a commitment to the values of integrity, innovation, and empathy. The COO will be expected to have a current driver's license and automobile insurance, as well as a deep understanding of hospice and palliative care philosophy and practices. Responsibilities also include staff management, development of clinical policies, and participation in community education and legislative activities. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively with a diverse team.
