Chief Operating Officer (COO) About the Company Respected manufacturing company Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer to take on a pivotal role in leading and optimizing its day-to-day operations. This hands-on executive position is dedicated to driving operational excellence, scaling production capabilities, and supporting the company's growth initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to implement strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, ensure product quality, and position the company for long-term success. Key responsibilities include leading and optimizing operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution, as well as partnering with the CEO on strategic growth initiatives, identifying and implementing process improvements, and overseeing compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate for the Chief Operating Officer role at the company will have a minimum of 8 years' of senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing or related industries, with a proven track record of success in scaling operations within a growth-focused, small-to-mid-sized business environment. Strong expertise in process optimization, production planning, and supply chain management is essential, as is the ability to mentor and develop department leaders. The role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving capabilities, effective leadership, and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field is required, with an MBA being preferred. Experience in driving operational excellence in entrepreneurial or privately held companies, as well as a background in manufacturing technology upgrades or Lean Six Sigma initiatives, is a plus.
