The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Facilities to play a pivotal role in its mission to reduce homelessness and housing instability. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership in real estate development, facilities management, and asset management, ensuring that all projects are of the highest quality and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role involves working closely with internal and external partners to expand the organization's housing and shelter development pipeline, with a focus on serving vulnerable populations. The Senior Vice President will also be responsible for maintaining the organization's facilities to a high standard and will serve as a thought leader and public representative for the real estate work.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and significant leadership experience in developing and preserving affordable housing. A passion for affordable housing, community development, and urban planning is essential, as is expertise in securing sustainable financing for housing projects. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of local and federal housing regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. The Senior Vice President will be expected to lead the organization in responding to development opportunities and to ensure that all real estate activities align with the strategic plan.
