About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Director/Vice President for Antibody Discovery and Engineering. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving the strategy for the discovery, design, optimization, and characterization of antibody-based therapeutics, with a focus on advanced modalities. This leadership role involves overseeing external programs, managing a team of scientists, and serving as a scientific leader in the discovery and optimization efforts. The role also requires a deep understanding of antibody technologies, structure-function relationships, and experience in biologics discovery from inception to pre-IND. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline, with more than 15 years' experience in antibody and protein engineering, and at least 10 years in a managerial capacity. Extensive experience in both in vivo and in vitro antibody discovery, proficiency in various protein display systems, and a strong background in diverse antibody formats are essential. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in the field, with a proven track record of driving innovative technologies and a strong strategic vision. The role demands a meticulous, detail-oriented individual with excellent teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a cross-functional team environment.
