About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Quality Officer (CQO) to lead its system-wide quality strategy and performance improvement initiatives. The CQO will be a visionary leader with a passion for advancing clinical excellence, patient safety, and health equity. This senior physician leadership role involves chairing the Quality Board and overseeing quality efforts across various clinical domains, including specialty medicine, inpatient medicine, surgical care, and ambulatory services. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning regulatory compliance, patient safety, and quality improvement efforts, as well as promoting evidence-based methodologies and ensuring transparent reporting of clinical performance data. Applicants for the CQO position at the company should hold a Medical Degree (MD or DO), be board-certified in a medical specialty, and have at least five years of clinical leadership experience in quality, patient safety, or performance improvement. The role requires a strong understanding of external quality benchmarks, EMR integration, and expertise in interpreting clinical data. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide initiatives, be an excellent communicator, and have a deep commitment to health equity and fostering a culture of collaboration. The CQO will also be expected to mentor and serve as an ambassador for the organization and the community, championing health equity and elevating patient voices in quality initiatives.
