About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Various Boards Unit, which is dedicated to the oversight and regulation of multiple professional and trade boards. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the integrity of the licensing and regulatory processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and managing the Unit's administrative functions. This includes overseeing board meetings, managing personnel, and maintaining strong relationships with board members. The Executive Director will also be involved in the development and implementation of licensing processes, as well as the monitoring of educational programs and examination processes.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' professional experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role, and a background in business administration, public administration, or a related field. The role requires a versatile manager with expertise in operating policies, staff supervision, and a thorough knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the issuance of licenses, compliance inspections, and complaint investigations, as well as strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. The Executive Director will be expected to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, and to ensure that the Unit's staff are trained and compliant with the company's policies and procedures.
