About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Operations to spearhead the next phase of its production scale-up. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all manufacturing operations, including production, quality, supply chain, inventory, procurement, and EH&S. This pivotal role involves overseeing a growing team and ensuring strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with driving cost efficiency, material productivity, and continuous improvement, as well as implementing scalable systems for various operational processes. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet customer delivery targets and leading the implementation of an ERP system are also key aspects of the position.
Applicants for the VP of Operations role at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of senior leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with a preference for those with a background in batteries, semiconductors, or complex electronics. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling production, managing facility expansions, and leading cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of OSHA compliance, labor management, and EH&S oversight is essential, as is a results-driven approach with a focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
