The Lead Instructional Designer is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of impactful learning experiences across the organization. This role oversees instructional design strategies, mentors a team of designers, collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs), and ensures alignment of training solutions with business goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong instructional design expertise and leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end instructional design process for complex learning programs (e.g., onboarding, compliance, technical training, leadership development). Manage and mentor a team of instructional designers and content developers. Set design standards, frameworks, and templates based on instructional best practices and learning science. Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and SMEs to analyze training needs and define measurable learning objectives. Build and maintain good relationship between team stakeholders, business leaders, SMEs and team. Develop high-quality learning solutions, including e-learning modules, blended learning paths, instructor-led sessions, job aids, and assessments. Ensure learning content meets accessibility, branding, and compliance standards. Stay current with learning trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend innovative approaches. Lead or support LMS implementation or course deployment when needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. 2 years in a lead or senior design role. Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of instructional materials and learning solutions. Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learning technologies. Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems. Preferred Skills: Experience leading learning teams or managing instructional design projects. Background in corporate, higher education, or government training environments.
