Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physicist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/25/2025 Duration: 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist – NC Shift: Mon–Fri, 8a–5p (40 hrs/wk), 13-week contract Experience Required: 3 years (Radiation Oncology) Certifications: ABR – Therapeutic Medical Physics Skills Needed: External Beam RT (Teletherapy), IMRT, Radiation safety precautions Traveler Experience: 1st-time travelers accepted Work Details: 1 patient visit/day; cover physics clinical tasks during clinic hours Equipment & Systems: Varian (Halcyon, TrueBeam, IX), Nucletron HDR, Siemens CT sim, Sun Nuclear QA, VisonRT (SGRT), Eclipse/ARIA Special Procedures: SRS, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, T&O, Vaginal Cylinder Other Info: No weekends, call, or floating. Scrubs provided. Orientation: 40 hrs. Notes: No RTO allowed after booking; must complete compliance within 48 hrs of signing. Compact or NC license required.
