Summary:
This onsite Business Analyst (Cloud Governance) role in Atlanta, GA, focuses on bridging business and technical teams to deliver cloud governance solutions that ensure compliance, security, and cost efficiency. The position requires expertise in SQL, data analysis, and requirements gathering, along with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will help define and deliver governance platform capabilities, supporting policy lifecycle management and fostering a culture of compliance.

Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between cloud governance teams, platform owners, and stakeholders to define and document requirements.
Partner with engineering to deliver governance capabilities including policy as code, compliance detection, notification, and reporting.
Facilitate approval, publication, and lifecycle management of cloud standards and rules.
Oversee exception handling when compliance standards cannot be met.
Analyze governance dashboards and reports to identify trends, risks, and inefficiencies.
Present actionable data-driven recommendations to improve compliance and governance practices.
Skills/Qualifications: 5+ years of business analysis and 3+ years of data analysis experience.
Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
Expert in SQL; proficient in AWS, Lucid, Databricks, Athena, and Tableau.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; experience with Confluence and Jira.
Familiarity with policy lifecycle management, compliance detection, and reporting.
Ability to work independently, determine next steps, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
