Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,279 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Clinical Skills Required:

• Cardiac: Dysrhythmia interpretation/management, cardiac drips (titration), emergency response, 12-lead EKG, IV insulin protocols, acute/chronic renal failure, multi-system organ failure
• IV/Lines: Arterial lines, central lines, PICC, IV starts, blood product administration
• Respiratory: Ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, suctioning (ETT/NT), HFNC, ABG interpretation
• Medications: Vasoactive drips, sedation, paralytics, emergency meds
• Wound/Other: Post-surgical care, wound vac, drains, infection prevention, isolation precautions
• Charting: Cerner (preferred experience)

Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS License: Active Illinois RN license
