Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM Wed 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM Thur 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM Fri 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and/or client personnel. Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to procedures. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
